About Carol
Carol Solberg Moss is a licensed clinical social worker with a therapeutic and consulting practice in Evanston, Illinois.
Carol is also a Training Consultant for Patricia Cook and Associates, presenting personal branding workshops to Fortune 500 Companies. She is a Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant and received Spiritual Direction Certification from the Institute for Spiritual Leadership in Chicago. She also has training in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Carol began her clinical career at the Renfrew Center in Philadelphia, where she treated women with eating disorders in a residential setting. She is the former Director of Social Services at the King Home and Ten Twenty Grove, two Presbyterian Homes retirement communities. Carol has given over 50 seminars and presentations on topics relating to parenting, self-care, body image, weight loss and stress reduction.
She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Service (MSS), from Bryn Mawr College.
She is also co-author, with Antoinette Saunders, Ph.D. of “A Woman’s Search for Inner Peace: 16 Simple Spiritual Practices for Everyday Life,” which is available on Amazon.
Random fun facts:
Carol is also a storyteller, which she does through teaching classes and appearing on local stages.
Earlier in her life, Carol was a professional actress. She still sings professionally and performs in various venues — ranging from churches to cabaret nightclubs — throughout the Chicagoland area. She is a member of the Chicago Cabaret Professionals.
