Whose Voice Is It Anyway?

Have you ever begun a project, only to abandon it when old tapes begin to say, “You can’t do that,”“You’re not smart enough,” “ You’re too old,” “Who do you think you are?” and so on. In this interactive talk, participants will identify their own “Gremlins” or negative self-messages and learn how to tune out the negative messages while substituting positive ones in their place.

The Best Diet You’ll Never Do

Expand your mind, not your waistline by learning the 10 easy steps to mindful eating. “Mindfulness,” a Buddhist term meaning consciousness, is becoming more mainstream as a way to approach our relationship to food, such as how we prepare food and our state of mind when we consume it. Mindfulness has implications for the rest of our lives as well, such as the television shows we watch, books we read and people we choose to be with. Participants say this talk is fun, informative and very mindful.
